I have long been fascinated with Fairy tales, and as a textile artist, there association with textiles and textile practice is an area I’m unable to resist.
For some time now, I have been working on the recurring theme of human/animal metamorphosis. The pieces in Out of the Woods are a playful diversion into this area, they only hint at the darker connotations of fairy tales and the role of women within them.
